The Mushroom House owner must be a fungi!
This strange house juts out all over and reminds me of an out-of-control tree in a magic forest.
The front part is like a huge teepee with small pieces of colored tile adorning the bottom and a stained glass room bulging from the side.
A red metal staircase leads to the door and wooden shingles of all shapes wind around near a piece of corrugated metal roof.
“Every time I see the place, it seems to grow,” Rawlins said.

The missus and I just passed the house yesterday for the first time in a while. Funny that it would be one of the initial features on MCW.com. Congrats!
PS: I’d love to take a look inside (the house!) though one can only imagine what stories the walls might tell if they could speak!!!

It’s actually a work in progress by a (former?) UC Interior Design professor, Terry Brown. He would have a lot of his students work on it in bits and pieces. He obviously has a very unique design sensibility!

We were interested in seeing this house on our trip to Cincinnati next week. We were saddened to hear that Mr. Brown passed away last week in a car accident. He obviously had a brilliant mind and a sense of humor. What a loss.

Don’t you mean: “The Mushroom House owner must be a fun-GUY!”
It’s not very punny if you don’t change the spelling.

Hi!
I’m doing an English language-learning web series for the Asian market and we wanted to talk about this house in our episode about dream homes? Is there any chance we could use this photo?
Thanks!
