A Dead Lois(?)
When does noise become music? Beats me. But the guys in local band A Dead Lois seem to know. Somewhere in-between long jazz sets, a long jam at a Phish concert, the 20-minute version of One by Metallica, and lots of loud instruments, is A Dead Lois concert.

From drunk dials to your ex-girlfriend to openly admitting to an extensive sweater vest collection, sometimes things are better off left unsaid. Local four-piece instrumental rock band A Dead Lois feels the same way, using strictly guitars, keyboards, drums and computer sounds to create their music, devoid of any pesky lyrics getting in the way.
“I want to push music, push its boundaries. I love doing new things with music,” said Otis, who claims he loves to lay his guitar down and just play with pedals with all the feedback enveloping him.
