I forget where I read it – and I’m certain that I did – but did you know that the only statue of Abraham Lincoln in the world without his beard stands in Lytle Park? George Grey Barnard completed the statue in 1916.

I too once believed to to be the only beardless statue of Licoln. NOT TRUE. I lost a bet and did the research to confirm.
