Ride The Ducks

Newport joins the likes of Boston, Seattle, Baltimore, and San Francisco by becoming the eighth U.S. location to offer Ride The Ducks tours, a unique and fun - but also educational - sightseeing tour.  These boat-shaped cars… er, car-shaped boats… er, boat-shaped cars can travel on land and water, providing a unique tour route never offered before in this area.  Like the official website says, you can laugh and learn by land! And you can laugh and learn by sea!  What a country!

From Soapbox Cincinnati:

Aquarium owner Herschend Family Entertainment has opened Ride the Ducks Newport, a 40-minute tour that includes 25 to 30 minutes on the Ohio River, with a land circuit of the Great American Ball Park, Paul Brown Stadium, the aquarium, the World Peace Bell, and the historic homes on Covington’s Riverside Drive.

Tickets are $13 for adults and $10 for children and are available from a kiosk located outside of the aquarium.

I saw some a tour leaving the station the other day on the way to a movie.  It would be ideal for out-of-town guests, but I can’t wait to try it out for myself.
