This hand is either pointing toward the One True Way, or is asking the bartender for one more round. Given that a lot of Cincinnati’s philanthropists from this time were brewers, it’s difficult to say.
A neat detail, actually.

At first glance, I thought that WAS the bird. Too bad: if it were, I’d have definitely found my religion.
