I’m a total flipping nerd. I mean, I walk around quoting old Star Trek movies as often as I quote Dave Chapelle. My iPhone has the Rick James soundboard right next to the Star Wars soundboard.

That said, I’m a fan of all things nerdy. I’ve been to con’s and yes – I’ve gone in costume. I write my own science fiction web serial and hope to be professionally published some day.

I’m also a lover of all things urban, and a lover of art in many styles. My personal favorite, of course, is photography, and you can catch me trying to be cool by snapping photos with my iPhone, and adding cheater filters via Instagram (cool it, haters).

I love Cincinnati and all of its quirks. It’s people, it’s history, it’s weird traditions. I’ve felt at home here, ever since relocating from Columbus in 2006, and have come to appreciate all of the fantastic and unique things about this city. I hope to write about my encounters with those oddities here.
