Forever Young Treehouses promotes the construction of universally accessible treehouses across the country. While accessible treehouses provide a memorable experience for everyone, we focus on treehouse construction for children and young adults with special needs who are routinely confronted with barriers to fun and play in their daily lives. An accessible treehouse removes these obstacles, bringing people of all abilities together and closer to nature.
In April 2007, a wheelchair-accessible project called Everybody’s Treehouse opened in Mount Airy Forest. Partnerships between the Cincinnati Parks Board, Home Depot, The Cincinnati Rotary, The Marvin Lewis Foundation as well as Drees Construction and the Cincinnati Homebuilder’s Association made the house possible. Not only is the treehouse ADA-compliant, it is very unique and very, very cool.

Buster, the Baby Bus
Born in 1998 just in time to celebrate Metro’s 25th anniversary, Buster shows up at area parades and community events. Buster was built on a go-kart frame and was created by a team of Metro mechanics who gave him such unique features as working headlights and horn, rearview mirrors and windshield wipers. See him at a parade near you!

A stone’s throw from Hamilton, some 25 miles from downtown Cincinnati, lies a public park with monumental sculpture and an underground house.Pyramid Hill sprawls over 265 acres of rolling hills, man-made lakes, thick woodlands and butterfly-filled meadows. To get to the labyrinth, enter Burnet Woods on the Ludlow side. Pass the Trailside Nature Center on your right. When you come to the three-way stop, take the road to your right. About a quarter of the way up the hill, three trails will be on your right. Take the middle path into the woods. The entrance of the labyrinth is a stone threshold with a cow painted on it.
